The Brantford Symphony Orchestra is Seeking to Fill

Vacancies on the Board of Directors

Candidates will be required to demonstrate the following qualifications:

- Be able to attend all meetings (1-2 meetings per month)

- Show willingness to commit volunteer time outside of meetings

- Show willingness to chair at least one sub-committee

- Be Able to work within a team environment in a collaborative fashion

- Be a good communicator capable of taking the initiative

- Show solid support for the Brantford Symphony Orchestra by being a

committed concert attendee

- Be enthusiastic about championing our cause

- Be creative and able to think outside the box

- Possess distinctive skills to contribute to the board

- Have access to community connections and/or area business network

- Be able to assess risk, identify limitations in personal or joint resources

and make recommendations accordingly

- Be able to contribute to the financial well-being of the organization

Regular board meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m.

Our 2010 annual general meeting is taking place on Sept. 28^th.
