Re:                  The Law and Older Adults Survey Questionnaire

The Law Commission of Ontario is undertaking a number of initiatives to hear directly from older adults about how their lives are affected by the law and the principles that should underlie law and policy.

Among these initiatives is a questionnaire being circulated through a variety of community partners, including Ontario's public libraries, the Ontario Association of Residents Councils and Toronto Community Housing, Seniors Division. RTO/ERO, through Harold Brathwaite, was asked to circulate this questionnaire to our membership, as a means of providing them with the opportunity to shape these law reform initiatives.

Districts are encouraged to place this information and a link to the survey on their websites and in their newsletters that will be distributed soon to members, and in any other electronic correspondence to members.

The questionnaire can be returned by mail, fax or e-mail or filled out online. To access the survey, visit http://www.lco-cdo.org/en/older-adults-interim-report-questionnaire.

The date for completion is no later than November 25, 2011.
